<p>The Flames definitely have seven more picks at their disposal on Day Two of the draft:</p>

<li>3rd round, 72nd overall (from NY Rangers) [from trading down]</li>
<li>3rd round, 80th overall (from Arizona, via Colorado and Washington) [from trading down]</li>
<li>4th round, 96th overall (from San Jose, via Montreal and Buffalo) [from the Michael Frolik deal]</li>
<li>5th round, 143rd overall</li>

<p>Calgary&#8217;s third round pick is 81st overall. But they owe a third to Chicago as part of the Erik Gustafsson trade – either their own or Edmonton&#8217;s, whichever is higher. Edmonton owes Calgary a third from the Milan Lucic trade in either 2020 or 2021. If Edmonton gives the Flames this year&#8217;s third, the Flames will keep 81st overall and have three. Otherwise, Chicago will draft 81st instead of Calgary.</p>
