<p>After a few weeks and eight games – and a lot of cuts in between – the Calgary Flames finish off their exhibition schedule on Friday evening when they host the Winnipeg Jets. The Flames were not particularly good against the Jets on Wednesday, and they&#8217;ll be looking to put a better performance forward.</p>

<li>Radim Zohorna gets a second game, this time with Mikael Backlund and Blake Coleman.</li>
<li>Adam Ruzicka slides down to play fourth line centre, auditioning for a job that seemed to be either his or Kevin Rooney&#8217;s.</li>
<li>Connor Mackey slides in on his off side on the third pairing; he&#8217;s played that side off and on in Stockton over the past couple of seasons and if he can do it well at the NHL level, perhaps he&#8217;s here on Oct. 13.</li>
