It’s almost the Christmas season, friends, which means those of us who have school or work to worry about get some time off. The better news is there are several games this week scheduled with Calgary Flames prospects that are televised on channels most fans actually get.

Should be playing, but aren’t
- The QMJHL has shut down until Jan. 6, so no games for Ryan Francis or Jeremie Poirier for awhile.
- Most leagues are (obviously) pausing for a break over the Christmas holidays, though many of them pick up immediately afterwards.
