Flames recall Dillon Dube from Stockton, send Alan Quine to AHL

The Calgary Flames have made a roster move in advance of Sunday’s game in Las Vegas. The club has recalled forward Dillon Dube from the American Hockey League’s Stockton Heat. They’ve also sent Alan Quine back to Stockton.
A second year pro, the 21-year-old Dube’s been on the farm to start this season. He’s impressed, with 13 points in 13 AHL games. He’s been playing on the wing and is expected to play on Sunday night. If he’s playing, presumably somebody from Saturday’s lineup is banged up.
Quine heads back to the AHL after playing nine NHL games. If he had played a 10th, he would’ve been subject to waivers should the Flames wish to send him back to the farm. He had one goal in his nine appearances.
In an unrelated move, Stockton has sent Tyler Parsons to the ECHL’s Kansas City Mavericks. Parsons has been recovering from an injury while Jon Gillies and Artyom Zagidulin have split goaltending duties. Parsons will join Nick Schneider with the Mavericks for the next little while (at least).
