Robinson is waiver except and their extra forward. Hamonic injury likely short term so he won't be going on IR, at least not right now. #flames

The Calgary Flames made a pair of moves Monday morning recalling D @Alexander Yelesin from the Stockton Heat and assigned F @Buddy Robinson to the AHL club.
The recall of Yelesin comes two days after D @Travis Hamonic left a game against the @Vancouver Canucks with an undisclosed injury.
Yelesin, 24, has appeared in 33 games for the Heat this year scoring one goal and three assists. Yelesin has been called up in the past this season to fill in as a seventh-defenceman for the Flames.
Meanwhile, Robinson, 28, was recalled by the Flames late last month and appeared in five games for the big club scoring one goal. In 40 AHL games this season, Robinson has scored 16 goals and another 14 assists.
