The Calgary Flames announced their pre-season calendar for the 2021-22 season on Tuesday morning. The exhibition slate will be eight games, including four at the friendly confines of the Scotiabank Saddledome.
The eight games on the docket are:
- Sept. 26 – vs. Edmonton
- Sept. 27 – at Vancouver (in Abbotsford, BC)
- Sept. 29 – vs. Seattle
- Oct. 1 – vs. Vancouver
- Oct. 2 – at Seattle (in Kent, WA)
- Oct. 4 – at Edmonton
- Oct. 6 – at Winnipeg
- Oct. 8 – vs. Winnipeg
At this point, the expectation is that the pre-season schedule will be conducted before live, actual fans – the announcement release notes that “Tickets on sale dates for pre-season games will be announced at a later date.” The Flames haven’t played before actual, paying crowds since the pandemic began in March 2020.
