Flames send Anthony Peluso back to Stockton

The Calgary Flames have made a roster move. They’ve reassigned forward Anthony Peluso to the American Hockey League’s Stockton Heat.
Peluso, 29, was only up with the Flames in place of forward Dillon Dube (who’s working through the concussion protocol). While this doesn’t necessarily mean that Dube’s ready to return to action, sending away the team’s only extra healthy forward is a really good sign that it might be the case.
Peluso played just 4:20 against Anaheim in his only appearance of this recall. He’s played three games for the Flames and five games for Stockton so far this season. (He’s played so little NHL hockey this season, preseason or otherwise, that USA Today Sports doesn’t have any shots of him in a Flames jersey.)
