Flames skate together for first time in three months

It was a sight for sore eyes on Friday at the Scotiabank Saddledome, as five members of the Calgary Flames organization hit the ice for an informal practice to kick off Phase 2 of the NHL’s Return to Play strategy. It was the first time the Flames have skated together since their last practice on March 11.
The five players involved were Mark Giordano, Michael Stone, Dillon Dube, Mark Jankowski and Matthew Phillips. The last we had heard, all of these players but Jankowski live in Calgary year-round.
As other players migrate to Calgary, they’ll be added to skating groups – limited to six players on the ice at a time, with no coaches. Per the club, Tobias Rieder has returned to Calgary and will join the skating group following his Health Canada mandated 14 day quarantine.
Dube’s hair and beard are already in playoff form.
