Someway, somehow, it’s mid November. A few hockey teams and leagues have hit snags as they try to navigate the pandemic. A few more are beginning their schedules. The hockey world keeps on turning.

Let’s check in on the prospects, shall we?

Jake Boltmann- D, Lincoln Stars, USHL

	GP	G	A	P	5v5 P	P1	5v5 P1	NHLe
Up to date	1	0	0	0	0	0	0	0.00
Change from last week	1	0	0	0	0	0	0	n/a

Boltmann played one game, and had the other postponed due to safety requirements not being met. Ah, 2020.

Lucas Feuk- LW, AIK, Allsvenskan/Superelit

	GP	G	A	P	5v5 P	P1	5v5 P1	NHLe
Allsvenskan up to date	6	1	0	1	1	1	1	5.19
Change from last week	–	–	–	–	–	–	–	–
Superelit up to date	8	2	8	10	6	6	3	19.78
Change from last week	–	–	–	–	–	–	–	–

As noted last week, the entire Superelit league has been paused until the end of 2020 due to COVID-19 flare-ups. The AIK pro team is also experiencing an outbreak, so at least for the time being Feuk is idle because there’s nowhere for him to play.

Ryan Francis- C, Cape Breton Eagles, QMJHL

	GP	G	A	P	5v5 P	P1	5v5 P1	NHLe
Up to date	14	5	13	18	7	13	6	29.94
Change from last week	2	1	2	3	1	2	0	+0.83

The good news: Francis had three points in two games. The bad news: the Eagles lost both of their weekend games.

Glenn Gawdin- C, EHC Visp, Swiss League

	GP	G	A	P	5v5 P	P1	5v5 P1	NHLe
Up to date	1	0	0	0	0	0	0	n/a
Change from last week	–	–	–	–	–	–	–	–

Gawdin’s time with Visp has ended. His debut was delayed by a week due to COVID-19 cancelling some of their games, and he ended up only playing a single game. He’s headed back to North America to prepare for the NHL season. (He’ll be removed from this rundown next week.)

Johannes Kinnvall- D, HV71, SHL

	GP	G	A	P	5v5 P	P1	5v5 P1	NHLe
Up to date	8	4	7	11	5	5	3	67.20
Change from last week	–	–	–	–	–	–	–	–

HV71 was off again this week due to a COVID-19 outbreak on the team. They’re scheduled to be back in action on Nov. 19, but the situation is obviously fluid.

Demetrios Koumontzis- LW, Arizona State Sun Devils, Independent

	GP	G	A	P	5v5 P	P1	5v5 P1	NHLe
Up to date	2	0	0	0	0	0	0	0.00
Change from last week	2	0	0	0	0	0	0	n/a

Arizona State lost a pair of weekend games to Michigan by a combined score of 11-1. Koumontzis was pointless with a minus-3 rating, which actually was about average for his team.

Ilya Nikolayev- C, Buran Voronezh, VHL / Loko Yaroslavl, MHL

	GP	G	A	P	5v5 P	P1	5v5 P1	NHLe
VHL up to date	12	4	1	5	2	5	2	13.36
Change from last week	2	0	1	1	1	1	1	+0.54
MHL up to date	12	6	7	13	12	12	9	23.10
Change from last week	–	–	–	–	–	–	–	–

Nikolayev had a quietly productive week, playing a regular shift and getting a point. He’s carving out a niche for himself as a reliable two-way pro centre as a 19-year-old.

Jakob Pelletier- LW, Val-d’Or Foreurs, QMJHL

	GP	G	A	P	5v5 P	P1	5v5 P1	NHLe
Up to date	9	3	10	13	6	11	6	33.64
Change from last week	2	0	3	3	1	2	1	+0.37

Pelletier’s off to World Junior camp and boasting some nice offensive numbers. It’s also worth noting that he’s shooting 6.5%, roughly half of his career average, so potentially we could see pucks start going in for him in bunches when he returns to action for Val-d’Or – possibly not until 2021.

Jeremie Poirier- D, Saint John Sea Dogs, QMJHL

	GP	G	A	P	5v5 P	P1	5v5 P1	NHLe
Up to date	14	5	9	14	9	11	7	23.29
Change from last week	2	3	0	3	1	3	1	+1.94

Poirier had two games this weekend. In one, he had zero points in a 9-2 win. In the next, he had a hat trick in a 4-3 win. This is very much who he seems to be.

Martin Pospisil- C/LW, HC Kosice, Tipsport Liga

	GP	G	A	P	5v5 P	P1	5v5 P1	NHLe
Up to date	10	5	2	7	4	6	4	n/a
Change from last week	2	0	1	1	1	1	1	–

Kosice’s opponent (MHK 32 Liptovsky Mikulas) on Sunday no-showed the game, despite travelling to town. They played two other games this week and Pospisil was fine.

Ilya Solovyov- D, Dynamo Minsk, KHL

	GP	G	A	P	5v5 P	P1	5v5 P1	NHLe
KHL up to date	18	0	3	3	3	1	1	10.96
Change from last week	3	0	1	1	1	0	0	+2.19

Solovyov generated an assist! He was originally credited with a goal, but it was changed after the game.

Filip Sveningsson- LW, MODO Hockey, Allsvenskan

	GP	G	A	P	5v5 P	P1	5v5 P1	NHLe
Up to date	13	2	1	3	3	2	2	7.51
Change from last week	4	0	0	0	0	0	0	-3.34

Sveningsson had a busy week. He played four times. Unfortunately, he had zero points across those games.

Eetu Tuulola- RW, Vasterviks IK, Allsvenskan / SaiPa, SM-Liiga

	GP	G	A	P	5v5 P	P1	5v5 P1	NHLe
Allsvenskan up to date	11	2	2	4	4	3	3	8.88
Change from last week	–	–	–	–	–	–	–	–
SM-Liiga up to date	–	–	–	–	–	–	–	–
Change from last week	–	–	–	–	–	–	–	–

Tuulola’s loan with Vasterviks in Sweden has come to an end, but he’s caught on with SaiPa in Finland on a loan.

Juuso Valimaki- D, Tampereen Ilves, SM-Liiga

	GP	G	A	P	5v5 P	P1	5v5 P1	NHLe
Up to date	14	2	12	14	8	11	6	36.98
Change from last week	2	0	3	3	2	3	2	+3.08

Valimaki is back to scoring at a point per game pace, and is leading defensive scorer in SM-Liiga. He remains one of the top players in Finland’s top pro league.

Dmitri Zavgorodniy- C/RW, SKA St. Petersburg, KHL

	GP	G	A	P	5v5 P	P1	5v5 P1	NHLe
Up to date	5	0	3	3	3	2	2	39.46
Change from last week	–	–	–	–	–	–	–	–

Zavgorodniy was scratched in three games this week as SKA leans on some of their younger players as they prepare for the World Juniors. They still have a bunch of extra bodies kicking around.

Daniil Chechelev- G, Russkie Vityazi Chekhov, MHL / HC Ryazan, VHL

	GP	TOI	SV%
MHL up to date	10	571	0.943
Change from last week	–	–	–
VHL up to date	7	322	0.910
Change from last week	1	60	-0.028

Chechelev has looked human lately. He’s given up nine goals over two games over the past two weeks. Since getting lit up, he’s dressed as backup twice.
