Jiri Hudler Leaves Tonight’s Game With Injury

The Calgary Flames managed a very one-sided game with the Colorado Avalanche tonight down in Denver. But that good news is paired with some bad news, as Jiri Hudler left the game with a lower-body injury.
The news was announced by the Flames Twitter account mid-way through the third period.
It’s not immediately clear when Hudler was injured in the game.

Hudler had the third-least ice-time among Flames through 20 minutes (ahead of only David Jones and Ladislav Smid) and the least ice-time after 40 minutes, so aside from missing the final five minutes his absence wasn’t immediately obvious because Bob Hartley just seemed to be benching him.
Now, in retrospect, it’s possible that he was playing through something.
We’ll have more updates as information becomes available.
