Jonas Hiller Pulled After 2 Goals on 3 Shots

Game 6 of the Calgary Flames’ series with the Vancouver Canucks got off to a rough start for the Flames’ starting netminder, Jonas Hiller.
Hiller gave up 2 goals on 3 shots and was yanked from the game after just 7:32 and replaced with back-up Karri Ramo.
Flames coach Bob Hartley has a history of yanking goalies from games to spark his team. Heck, Ramo played a bit of Game 2 in Vancouver in a game the Flames were down, seemingly in an effort to spark the Flames late in a game. In the regular season, Hiller made 8 relief appearances while Ramo had a pair, and on at least a few of those occasions the Flames managed to come back to salvage the game.
We’ll see what happens tonight.
