Martin Pospisil’s European loan comes to an end

The Calgary Flames sent five players to European clubs to play back in October. As of Friday morning, all five players have been recalled back to North America. Forward Martin Pospisil has been returned from HC Kosice of Slovakia’s Tipsport Liga.
Pospisil, 21, is entering his second pro season in 2020-21. His initial foray into the AHL ranks was interrupted by a concussion suffered in an early season fight, but he ended up with 10 points in 26 AHL games. In 17 games in Slovakia, he had 13 points and 86 penalty minutes.
The product of Zvolen, Slovakia was the Flames’ fourth round pick (105th overall) in the 2018 NHL Draft.
