Oliver Kylington scores first NHL goal

A highly-touted Calgary Flames prospect has a milestone early in the Flames’ Saturday night match-up with the Nashville Predators. Defender Oliver Kylington scored his first NHL goal just 1:12 into the first period.
Kylington, 21, was the Flames’ second selection in the 2015 NHL Draft – taken a little bit later than teammate Rasmus Andersson. He’s spent a good amount of time in the American Hockey League dating back to his first pro season in 2015-16, but he’s always been considered a strong offensive player.
The remaining Flames roster players without NHL goals are Andrew Mangiapane and Rasmus Andersson.
