Post-Sim Wrap-Up: Flames lose to Devils 7-4

Photo credit: Ed Mulholland-USA TODAY Sports
After splitting their back to back set in the greater New York area – beating the Rangers and losing to the Islanders – the virtual Calgary Flames finished off their simulated road trip in virtual New Jersey. (There’s no better way to experience New Jersey than via NHL 20 simulations.)
Unfortunately, the Flames weren’t quite ready for an energetic game with the Devils, losing 7-4 on March 19 to complete their road swing with one win in three tries.

Devils:

Results
The good news? The Flames scored first! The bad news? Well, their defensive game wasn’t great nor was Cam Talbot’s rebound control. That led to a lot of goals for the Devils in the second perod, and they coasted to victory.
