<p>The Flames were much better than they were against the Kings on Saturday night. Granted, they weren&#8217;t perfect, but they did a lot of things that they&#8217;ll need to build on going forward.</p>

<p>Alan Quine played for the Stockton Heat on Friday night in San Diego, earning two assists in a 5-1 win. On Saturday night he played again in Bakersfield, earning another two assists in a 4-3 win. He was called up on Sunday morning when it became clear that Sam Bennett wasn&#8217;t going to be an option for the game in Anaheim.</p>

<p>Playing his third game in three nights, Quine played 9:50 on the fourth line and had three shots. You wouldn&#8217;t have known he had played the previous two nights from how he was moving around on the fore-check.</p>
