Report: Johnny Gaudreau is fine after Charlie McAvoy hit

There was a cloud hanging over Wednesday’s Calgary Flames win over the Boston Bruins, as Johnny Gaudreau left the game after a hit from Charlie McAvoy. But a few updates about his condition have started to trickle through the media, and they’re positive.
We’ll obviously know more at Friday’s morning skate, but this is definitely good news for the Flames given Gaudreau’s importance to their offense.
As confirmed by FlamesNation, McAvoy will not face any supplemental discipline for the incident.
