The Calgary Flames may be getting some good news on the injury front.
According to a report from TSN&#8217;s Darren Dreger on <a href="https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/video/insider-trading-nash-grabner-highly-sought-after~1310244">Tuesday&#8217;s edition of Insider Trading</a>, Flames winger Kris Versteeg is expected to be skating in &#8220;10-to-14 days&#8221; and that could pave the way for a return in &#8220;early-to-mid March.&#8221;

Versteeg, 31, has been out since late November with a lingering hip issue. He underwent surgery in early December to resolve a labrum issue, but has been doing his rehab in Calgary. Estimates for recovery from labrum surgery are generally in the four-to-six months range, and a mid-March return would be roughly four months after surgery.
Michael Frolik is also skating with the team with a yellow no-contact jersey and a full face shield after taking a Brent Burns slapshot to the face in late December and undergoing jaw surgery. He&#8217;s expected to be back sometime after the All-Star Break, which would be in early February.
