Round 2 Schedule Speculation

The Calgary Flames have advanced to the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs!
In the interest of allowing everyone to plan their lives and make the appropriate excuses to friends, relatives and loved ones, here’s what we think we know right now about the schedule.
Pat wrote that Tweet before last night’s games. The Round 2 schedule (a) depends on when Round 1 ends and (b) won’t be fully revealed until Round 1 ends.
After last night, we know we’ll have a Game 7 on Wednesday between Detroit and Tampa Bay, which most likely means we get a “buffer day” between rounds on Thursday.
So that mean our schedule is likely something like this:
- Game 1:
Friday (May 1)Thursday (April 30) in Anaheim - Game 2: Sunday (May 3) in Anaheim
- Game 3: Wednesday (May 6) in Calgary
- Game 4: Friday (May 8) in Calgary
- Game 5: TBD
- Game 6: TBD
- Game 7: TBD
The gaps in-between games are both fairly standard and largely determined by building availability.
We’ll share the official Round 2 schedule as soon as it’s made available.
