The Heritage Classic has come and gone, and with it we’ve experienced the first Battle of Alberta of the 2023-24 season. To wrap up the weekend and tee up what’s next for the Calgary Flames, FlamesNation managing editor Ryan Pike joined the Kevin Karius Show on Sports 1440 on Monday morning.
Among the topics that were discussed: the Flames needing to take on the qualities of its captain, challenging starts for Nazem Kadri and Jonathan Huberdeau, and the Flames’ habit of finding ways to lose early in the 2023-24 season.
