The first Calgary Flames selection from the 2013 NHL Draft has become the first player from that draft to hit a big scoring milestone. In the first period of Saturday’s game with the Montreal Canadiens, Sean Monahan scored his 200th career NHL goal.
Sean Monahan is the ninth player in franchise history to record 200 goals. Joins Iginla (525), Fleury, Nieuwendyk, Roberts, Nilsson, McDonald, MacInnis, and Vail. Calgary up 1-0 on Montreal in the first period. #Flames
Monahan was selected sixth overall in the 2013 NHL Draft.
