The Calgary Wranglers and Manitoba Moose are switching rinks this week to wrap up their season series. They have kept all their games this year within two goals with the exception of one larger spread back in December. Will slight roster changes for the Wranglers since their last meeting on Feb. 14 be the “X factor” this weekend? We will soon find out.

<h2>Notes and expectations</h2>
It’ll be the third and fourth meeting between these two in a matter of about a week and a half. They last played on Feb. 13 &amp; 14 in a series in which the Wranglers picked up three of a possible four points with a win and a shootout loss. Connor Murphy rose to the occasion between the pipes in Dustin Wolf’s absence due to a call-up. Murphy picked up his first AHL win and did it in front of a home crowd. 
They both played a series between their last meeting with the Moose taking on the Milwaukee Admirals, a team the Wranglers don’t overlap with on their schedule. The Moose dropped their last two games with a 4-0 and a 4-3 final score. The Wranglers on the other end, faced the Abbotsford Canucks in their last two games and split that series but still earned the three of four points. Their games ended in a 2-1 win and a 3-2 overtime loss. 
These games may also determine the season series winner as this pair of games will be the last two they play against each other in the regular season. The Wranglers currently have a 3-0-2-1 season record against the Moose and if they split this weekend, they’ll end in a tie this season. They tend to play pretty clean hockey against each other, so it would not come as a surprise if they finish the year evened up. 
This series kicks off on Friday night and continues for a back-to-back showdown on Saturday. Friday’s game gets started at 6:00 p.m. MT and Saturday’s game is an hour earlier for a 5:00 p.m. MT puck drop.
