Friends, it&#8217;s now official: the Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers will be taking part in the 2023 Heritage Classic. The Battle of Alberta match-up was officially announced by the league during the first intermission of Calgary&#8217;s game on Saturday night against Vancouver.

The game will take place at Edmonton&#8217;s Commonwealth Stadium on Oct. 29, the final Sunday in October.
