The Calgary Flames announced their pre-season schedule on Friday morning, outlining the eight games they&#8217;ll be playing as tune-ups for the 2023-24 season. The eight game schedule is consistent with past years, and sees them playing exhibition games against Vancouver, Seattle, Winnipeg and Edmonton.

The announced schedule is as follows:

<li>Mon., Sept. 25: vs. Seattle (7 p.m. MT) and at Seattle (8 p.m. MT), split squad format</li>
<li>Wed., Sept. 27: at Winnipeg (6 p.m. MT)</li>
<li>Fri., Sept. 29: vs. Edmonton (7 p.m. MT)</li>
<li>Mon., Oct. 2: vs. Winnipeg (7 p.m. MT)</li>
<li>Wed., Oct. 4: at Edmonton (7 p.m. MT)</li>
<li>Fri., Oct. 6: at Vancouver (8 p.m. MT)</li>

Broadcast plans weren&#8217;t announced. In past years, the Flames website has streamed the games and Sportsnet 960 has broadcast them live on radio. We&#8217;ll share plans as they&#8217;re officially announced.
The pre-season is preceded by the Young Stars Classic tournament in Penticton, BC, which runs Sept. 15-18.
Based on the CBA and its rules on how long training camps are allowed to run, the 2023-24 roster deadline should be Mon., Oct. 9 at 3 p.m. MT and the opening day of the season should be Tues., Oct. 10.
