Pals, over the past couple of seasons, the folks at Amazon Prime sub-contracted Sportsnet’s Monday national window and ran Monday Night Hockey broadcasts in Canada on their stream service.

The broadcasts were pretty good, and seemingly Sportsnet enjoyed the money they got from contracting out one of their nights. As the new 12-year national TV contract in Canada begins in 2026-27, Sportsnet has bestowed Wednesday nights on Amazon instead of Mondays for the next 12 years.

And on Thursday, Amazon announced the schedule for their first season of Wednesday Night Hockey telecasts. The Calgary Flames will be featured four times on Amazon, including a pair of Battle of Alberta mid-week rivalry games!

Here are the four Wednesday Night Hockey broadcasts featuring the Flames:

The other 80 Flames regular season games will be broadcast on Sportsnet’s various channels, mixed between national and regional telecasts. Last season the Flames had two games on Amazon, so the number of Sportsnet telecasts featuring the Flames will remain constant.

Montreal is featured the most on Amazon Prime in 2026-27, with seven games scheduled – one more than Toronto. Vancouver has the least Amazon Prime appearances, with just two.
