<p>Thursday evening at the Scotiabank Saddledome featured a bit of history.</p>

<p>It was the 1,595th regular season game hosted by the Saddledome, which is kind of fun. But the Utah Hockey Club visited the Calgary Flames for the first time in their history, becoming the 37th different club to play in the Saddledome as visitors since the arena opened in 1983.</p>
<p>Unless something weird happens within the National Hockey League in the next two seasons – which we won&#8217;t definitively rule out – Utah HC will be the final NHL team to make their Saddledome debut in the building&#8217;s long history.</p>
