Things were pretty close in this one, although the top-six didnt much of a boost from Cammalleri at ES. Iginla, Jokinen and Cammy were all under water in terms of chances this evening. It was the Flames depth players like Jones and Jackman evening things up on the chance clock, just as it was against the Ducks the other night.

It was really close in the first period but once the Kings scored the first goal thanks to a nice bounce they took over a bit in the second. They shut things down pretty well in the third as well.

I was at the game tonight. I don’t know how many turn overs there were tonight, but the flames gave up a lot. I also lost count at how many times the Flames were trying to pass through Kings players, but they kept losing possession getting cute. Bakcklund was great tonight and had chance at burying at least 2 goals (the kid is sure snake-bitten), on the other and Brodie struggled at times, he’s probably not ready to have Babchuck as his partner, maybe he drew the shortest straw.
