Alan Quine placed on waivers

On the day before final rosters are due, Alan Quine has found himself placed on waivers. He is likely bound to be sent down to the Stockton Heat.
Quine had himself a relatively strong camp, but wasn’t able to beat anyone out for a job. He’s likely first in line for a call-up, especially since he can play both centre and left wing. That is assuming of course that he does not get claimed, in which case that’ll be the end of Quine tickling twine for the Calgary Flames.
With no other names reported at this time for waivers, it seems safe to assume that players like Austin Czarnik, who would also required clearing waivers, are going to start the season with Calgary.
However, there is still time before tomorrow’s deadline to players down to Stockton who don’t require waivers. For players like Dillon Dube and Oliver Kylington who didn’t necessarily have the greatest training camps, there’s a good chance they find themselves heading to California within the next 24 hours.
