@Calgary Flames captain @Mark Giordano was injured and did not return to a Tuesday night game against the @San Jose Sharks.
The injury happened with 6:25 left in the second period when the rearguard tried to one-time a shot. He did not return for the third period and the club announced he suffered a lower-body injury.
Giordano’s legs were caught in an awkward spot after he let the shot go and was in the Sharks corner for 10 seconds before he gingerly got off the ice.
