While the coronavirus and the National Hockey League&#8217;s suspension has created some uncertainty, some members of the Calgary Flames <a href="https://www.gofundme.com/f/tm3y6-employee-fund-for-calgary-sports-amp-entertainment">have donated to a GoFundMe</a> page set up as a fundraiser for impacted event staff.

So far, there have been donations from:

<li>TJ Brodie&#8217;s wife Amber</li>
<li>Milan Lucic</li>
<li>Zac Rinaldo</li>
<li>Sam Bennett</li>
<li>Sean Monahan</li>
</ul>
As of this writing, more than $44,000 had been donated to the fundraiser. It&#8217;s likely not enough to cover all lost wages – the Athletic&#8217;s Jon Greenberg did the math for Chicago&#8217;s United Center his number was in the vicinity of $5 million combined for the Bulls and Blackhawks games – but it will definitely help out some people in the community that rely on that income.
