Flames at World Juniors Day 6: New Year’s Eve fun

Three games took place on Thursday at the 2021 World Junior Championship! Two of them involved Flames prospects!
Here’s how the Flames fared on the final day of the round robin.
Canada 4, Finland 1
Canada scored early and often, and Flames prospects factored in on two of their four goals.
Jakob Pelletier got the primary assist on Dylan Holloway’s eventual game-winner, banking the puck in off of the Oilers prospect. All-told, Pelletier had an assist, two shots and was plus-1 in 10:36.
Connor Zary had a secondary assist on Canada’s third goal. He ended up with one assist, four shots and was plus-1 in 9:24.
With the win, Canada locked down first place in Group A.
United States 4, Sweden 0
24 hours after a barn-burner against Russia, Sweden didn’t have that much magic left in them. The Americans scored early and often and coasted to a 4-0 win.
Dustin Wolf dressed as backup to Spencer Knight once again.
With the win, the Americans locked down first place in Group B.
