Johnny Gaudreau graduates from Boston College

Way back in 2011, a fresh-faced Johnny Gaudreau entered Boston College as a freshman and began working towards a degree in communications. Now, 10 years later, he’s officially a college graduate.
Gaudreau, 27, played three seasons with Boston College and was a great player at the collegiate level – he won a national championship, a Hobey Baker Award and was twice named a First Team All-American. When he signed with the Flames in 2011, he promised his mom that he’d finish his degree.
Well, after eight NHL seasons and a lot of remote classes, Gaudreau has completed his bachelor’s degree in communications. Congratulations to him and his family on his accomplishment!
