It appears that Juuso Välimäki’s time in the minors is over, at least for now. Per the NHL’s media portal roster page, the Calgary Flames have recalled Välimäki from the American Hockey League’s Stockton Heat.
FWIW, Juuso Valimaki is listed on the game sheet, so for cap purposes he was recalled prior to today's deadline (since he's on the active roster). #Flames pic.twitter.com/mg0QCewMkW

Välimäki was listed on the game sheet for Tuesday’s Flames game in San Jose, which means he was brought up on Tuesday for cap purposes – e.g., prior to the 3 p.m. MT roster deadline for salary cap purposes. Välimäki was a scratch for Tuesday’s game, but will travel back to Calgary with the big club.
Just in case he was needed tonight, #Flames D Juuso Valimaki was recalled earlier today from AHL Stockton. That's why he is not in the Heat lineup tonight.

Välimäki played two games for Stockton over the weekend, both against San Diego. He had three assists and a plus-three rating, primarily playing on a pairing with Colton Poolman.
