The Stockton Heat will continue their three-game series in Henderson on Friday evening when they take on the Silver Knights at Dollan Loan Center at 8:00 p.m. MT.

The Heat are coming off an impressive 4–3 overtime victory over the Silver Knights on Wednesday. Stockton trailed 3–1 entering the third period before Emilio Pettersen, Eetu Tuulola, and Byron Froese scored three unanswered goals to propel the visitors to victory.

Friday’s game will be the seventh between Stockton and Henderson this season. The Heat have a 3–1–2 record against their divisional foes this season, although the Silver Knights have picked up points in both meetings away from Stockton Arena.

Brendan Brisson, the Vegas Golden Knights’ 2020 first-round draft pick, made his professional debut against the Heat on Wednesday. The 20-year-old centre scored 21 goals and 42 points in 38 games as a sophomore with the Michigan Wolverines this season; in his professional debut, Brisson scored his first AHL goal to open the scoring for the Silver Knights.

Adam Werner started in goal for the Heat on Wednesday, stopping 20 of the 23 shots he faced for his 11th victory of the season. Expect Dustin Wolf to get the nod on Friday as the Heat remain in pursuit of the top spot in the Pacific Division.

Stockton (43–12–6) remains atop the AHL standings with a .754 points percentage through 61 games this season; Henderson (29–28–5) ranks sixth in the Pacific and could square off against the No. 3-seed Colorado Eagles in the first round of the playoffs.
