The Calgary Flames and Dallas Stars will have to finish Game 1 of their Western Conference quarterfinal series shorthanded. Blueliners Rasmus Andersson and John Klingberg were given game misconducts for engaging in a secondary fighter at the end of the first period.

The original fight was between Matthew Tkachuk and Michael Raffl. After that fight concluded, Andersson and Klingberg engaged.
Under Rule 46.7, secondary altercations after the original fight are levied an automatic game misconduct.
