Three Calgary Flames players have been voted to the National Hockey League’s two season-end All-Star Teams, as voted by the Professional Hockey Writers Association.
Johnny Gaudreau was voted a First Team All-Star on left wing, while Matthew Tkachuk and Jacob Markstrom were voted Second Team All-Stars at right wing and goaltender respectively. It’s the first time any of the three players have been voted to the NHL’s season-end all-star teams.
Elias Lindholm received a third-place vote at centre, Tkachuk received a third-place vote at left wing (despite being proclaimed as a right wing by the PHWA and the NHL for voting purposes), and Chris Tanev received a third-place vote at defence.
