Sorry to do it to the FlamesNation faithful, but we have to bet on the in-province rival, Edmonton Oilers. Hopefully, I haven’t upset you guys too much.
Today’s expected goaltender matchup for our highlighted game:
The Los Angeles Kings’ Cam Talbot (27-20-6) vs. The Edmonton Oilers’ Stuart Skinner (36-16-4).

Adrian Kempe over 2.5 shots on goal (-138)

A $10.00 bet would return $17.50.
Adrian Kempe has cleared this line in five of his last eight games, averaging 3.0 shots on 5.6 shot attempts. On the road, he has cleared in five of his previous six games, averaging 3.5 shots on 7.3 shot attempts.
Kempe crushes the Oilers. He has cleared this line in 11 straight games, averaging 5.0 shots on 7.9 shot attempts. Edmonton allowed the second most shots on goal of all playoff teams during the regular season, and they’ve continued that trend into the playoffs, averaging 13.0 per game.

Los Angeles Kings / Edmonton Oilers total over 5.5 (-150)

A $15.00 bet would return $25.00.
There is a goal-fest seemingly every time these two teams meet — especially in the playoffs. Dating back to last year’s playoff run, they have gone over this 5.5 total line in six of seven. Heck, game 1 alone saw 11 goals. Heading into the playoffs, Edmonton went over in four straight and Los Angeles in six of their last 11.

Last Game Recap

Nathan MacKinnon Over 4.5 Shots on Goal – LOSS – (-$10.00)
Connor Hellebuyck Over 29.5 Saves – LOSS – (-$10.00)
It was a tough night for us last night. MacKinnon finished with two shots on only four shot attempts. I guess with the lead, he felt he didn’t need to shoot much. This may have also played a part in Hellebuyck missing his save lines. He faced 31 shots, but he only stopped 27 of them.
All-Time Record: 81-84 (-$56.55)
