We’ve got two split series in the Western Conference to cover tonight. Can the underdogs take the lead in the series with the home teams switching locations?
Today’s expected goaltender matchups for our highlighted games:
The Winnipeg Jets’ Connor Hellebuyck (37-19-4) vs. The Colorado Avalanche’s Alexandar Georgiev (38-18-5)
The Edmonton Oilers’ Stuart Skinner (36-16-5) vs. The Los Angeles Kings’ (27-20-6).

Adrian Kempe over 2.5 shots on goal (-175)

A $15.00 bet would return $23.57.
We’ve got to go back to Adrian Kempe with the streak he’s been on.
Kempe has cleared this line in six of his last nine games, averaging 3.4 shots on 6.1 shot attempts. He has cleared in five of his previous 10 home games, averaging 3.0 shots on 5.1 shot attempts.
Kempe crushes the Oilers. He has cleared this line in 12 straight games, averaging 5.2 shots on 8.1 shot attempts. Edmonton allowed the second most shots on goal of all playoff teams during the regular season to right-wingers, and they’ve continued that trend into the playoffs, averaging 12.0 per game.

Valeri Nichuskin over 2.5 shots on goal (-163)

A $15.00 bet would return $24.23.
Valeri Nichuskin has cleared in three straight games, averaging 4.7 shots on 8.3 shot attempts. At home this season, he’s cleared in 55% of his games and averages 3.1 shots on 5.3 shot attempts.
The Russian forward finds another gear in the playoffs. He has cleared in nine of his last 10 games, averaging 3.9 shots per game. Nichuskin has been promoted to the top-line left wing with Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen. The Winnipeg Jets allow the most shots on goal to left-wingers in the playoffs, averaging 10.5 per game.
Here is my hand-made Playoff Shots on Goal positional chart to support my reasoning on these plays.

Last Game Recap

Andrei Svechnikov Over 2.5 Shots on Goal – LOSS – (-$10.00)
Carolina Hurricanes Moneyline & Sebastian Aho Point – WON – (+$13.50)
Alright, I’m done with Andrei Svechnikov. Back-to-back donuts on the shot on the goal sheet earn yourself on the banned list. However, the Hurricanes got it done, with Aho scoring the game-winning goal to put us in the green.
All-Time Record: 84-85 (-$35.55)
