The two best words in the entire English language when used together: Game Seven. Now, I’m sure Flames Nation bettors would hope both teams would lose. But that’s not the case, as one of their biggest rivals will punch their ticket to the Western Conference finals.
Today’s confirmed goaltender matchup for our highlighted game:
The Edmonton Oilers’ Stuart Skinner (5-3 record, 2.97 GAA, .881 S%) vs. The Vancouver Canucks’ Arturs Silovs (5-3 record, 2.89 GAA, .898 S%).

Edmonton Oilers / Vancouver Canucks under 6.5 (-165)

A $15.00 bet would return $24.09.
We’re buying this up one goal just as a safety net. The first three games of this series all went over this total. But as the series went on, defence got tighter, and the under has hit in three straight since.
Since the 2021 season, there have been 12 Game 7s. Nine of those 12 games went under this 6.5 total. Game 7s are often low-scoring, tighter matchups where teams put defence first cause one small mistake can lead to a goal in the back of your net.

Quinn Hughes over 2.5 shots on goal (+100)

A $10.00 bet would return $20.00
Quinn Hughes has surprisingly been quiet so far in these playoffs. He’s only cleared this line in one game, where he had four shots on goal on 11 shot attempts. Besides that, he hasn’t eclipsed the five-shot attempt mark once in the series.
In such a high-stakes game and with Brock Boeser out for the remainder of the playoffs, you need your brand new captain to step up for you – as he did in Game 5. Quinn is a different beast at home, clearing in seven of his last 10 games and a 53% clip on the entire year, averaging 2.6 shots on 6.6 shot attempts.

Last Game Recap

Vancouver Canucks Moneyline – LOSS – (-$10.00)
Connor McDavid Over 3.5 Shots on Goal – LOSS – (-$10.00)
Don’t let the scoreboard fool you. This was a pathetic game for both teams. Neither team had it, but Vancouver just shot themselves in the foot. They refused to shoot the puck and tested the Oilers’ shaky goaltender, ultimately leading to their defeat. Connor McDavid didn’t need to shoot much in this game.
All-Time Record: 102-97-1 (+$1.26)
