The Edmonton Oilers are making this a series, eh? Twelve goals scored in the last two games against a tight, defensive Florida Panthers team is quite impressive. Can Edmonton do the unthinkable and force a Game 7 after trailing the series 3-0?

Yes, the Panthers lost the last game, but they looked like the better team in the final two periods. And I can’t imagine I was the only one who thought that once Mattias Janmark hit the post on the open net, the Panthers would score on the ensuing possession.
Another inclination of mine is that it seems the whole hockey world is basically writing the Panthers off tonight. The belief is that Florida cannot come into Edmonton after losing two straight and force a Game 7 with all their momentum. And that has me hesitant.
The failed belief in the Panthers, along with their play in Game 5, has me siding with Florida tonight.

Leon Draisaitl has cleared in three of five games this series, averaging 2.6 shots on 5.6 attempts per game. He’s cleared in both games at home in this series, averaging 3.0 shots on 6.5 attempts. Expanding further into his home splits during the playoffs, Draisaitl has cleared this line in nine of 11 games in Rogers Place, averaging 3.5 shots on 6.5 attempts. He’s yet to make his mark on this series, only tallying two points in five games, but I’m betting on a Leon night tonight.
