We avoided betting on the Vancouver Canucks, and Edmonton Oilers in Game 1, but we can’t avoid this matchup today.
Today’s confirmed goaltender matchups for our highlighted game:
The Edmonton Oilers’ Stuart Skinner (4-2 record, 3.01 GAA, .893 S%) vs. The Vancouver Canucks’ Arturs Silovs (3-1 record, 2.28 GAA, .908 S%).

Connor McDavid Over 3.5 Shots on Goal (+115)

A $10.00 bet would return $21.50.
Connor McDavid was held without a shot on goal in Game 1, the first time in his playoff career that he finished with 0 shots on goal. He struggled to produce at 5-on-5 against the J.T. Miller line, but you can only contain the NHL’s best player for so long. Against the Canucks, he has cleared in six of his last nine games, averaging 4.9 shots on 7.4 shot attempts.

Edmonton Oilers Moneyline (-125)

A $10.00 bet would return $17.69.
I hate to do it, Flames fans, but I think they bounce back after an epic third-period collapse in Game 1. By all accounts, they should have won Game 1 after winning the first two periods. Ultimately, Stuart Skinner got in his own head and made some costly mistakes that led to his -2.07 goals save above expected. Expect a fired-up Oilers squad, led by Connor McDavid, who struggled to produce at 5-on-5 in Game 1.

Last Game Recap

Florida Panthers Moneyline – WON – (+$10.00)
Jake Guentzel Over 2.5 Shots on Goal – LOSS – (-$17.50)
The Dallas Stars almost blew another lead, but they managed to hold on for the 5-3 victory in Game 2. Jake Guentzel, however, missed his shots on goal by just one despite having four shot attempts.
All-Time Record: 96-91-1 (+$7.07)
