The Boston Bruins’ Jeremy Swayman (5-2 record, 1.43 GAA, .955 S%) vs. The Florida Panthers’ Sergei Bobrovsky (4-2 record, 3.00 GAA, .890 S%).

Sam Reinhart has cleared this line in five of six playoff games, averaging 4.8 shots on 7.5 shot attempts. In the only game against the Boston Bruins this series, Reinhart has six shots on nine shot attempts.
Reinhart has cleared in 10 straight home games, averaging 4.8 shots on 7.4 shot attempts. I’m not a colour specialist, but that looks like a lot of green. Against the Bruins, Reinhart has cleared in four of his last seven games, averaging 3.4 shots on 6.3 attempts.
Reinhart has only cleared this line in 38% of his games. But if we take his average over the last 10 of 7.4 shot attempts and round that down to 7.0, let’s see how often he’s cleared this line. His number jumps up to a 77% hit rate when he gets 7+ shot attempts. Let’s just hope for an average night from Reinhart.
Florida Panthers moneyline (-165)
A $20.00 bet would return $32.12.
The most steadfast rule in all of playoff hockey is that when the home team loses them in Game 1, you hammer them in Game 2. Florida matched up against a Boston Bruins team who were still in their rhythm, coming off the emotional high of their epic Game 7 overtime win agaisnt the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Panthers, on the other hand, had a whole week off. So, while they may be rested, they weren’t primed for playoff hockey in the opening game. The Panthers can’t afford to go down 2-0 in the series and head back to Boston, so they’ll have to find a way to beat the best goalie in the playoffs to this point, Jeremy Swayman.
