A huge Calgary Flames win against the Arizona Coyotes last night! Tonight’s eight-game slate consists of seven games that hold playoff implications. Let’s get into it.
Today’s confirmed goaltender matchups for our highlighted games:
The Boston Bruins’ Jeremy Swayman (25-9-8) vs. The Washington Capitals’ Charlie Lindgren (23-16-7).
The Montreal Canadiens’ Sam Montembeault (16-15-8) vs. The Detroit Red Wings’ Alex Lyon (20-18-5).

Boston Bruins / Washington Capitals under 5.5 (-105)

A $10.00 bet would return $19.52.
It’s scary to take an under when it’s set at 5.5, but this game should have a playoff feel to it. Both teams have gone under this 5.5 over their last 10, the Bruins in seven games and the Capitals in four of them. Historically, these two teams have gone under in three of their previous four meetings.
There are a ton of playoff implications for tonight’s game. If the Bruins win, they clinch the Atlantic Division and, depending on what happens with the New York Rangers and Carolina Hurricanes, would be one point away from back-to-back President’s trophies. If the Capitals win, they hold their playoff position and, depending on what happens with the New York Islanders, would be one point behind the third-place spot in the Metropolitan Division.

Dylan Larkin Over 3.5 shots on goal (+105)

A $10.00 bet would return $20.50.
Dylan Larkin has cleared this line in four of his last six games, averaging 4.8 shots on 8.5 shot attempts. On home ice this season, he has cleared in just 34% of all his games but averages 6.0 shot attempts per game. When Larkin sees his average of six shot attempts at home, this number jumps to 43%.
Against the Canadiens, he has cleared in both meetings this season and five of his last six games, averaging 4.2 shots on 8.0 shot attempts. Montreal allows the fourth most shots on goal to centres, averaging 12.6 per game.

Last Game Recap

Arizona Coyotes / Calgary Flames Over 6.5 – WON – (+$9.52)
Logan Cooley Point – LOSS – (-$10.00)
The over was as easy as they come, cashing in the second period. How Logan Cooley went pointless when the Coyotes scored five goals, and two coming from his linemate, is beyond me.
All-Time Record: 76-77 (-$33.27)
