If the Bruins win, they clinch the Atlantic Division and, depending on what happens with the New York Rangers and Carolina Hurricanes, would be one point away from back-to-back President’s trophies. If the Capitals win, they hold their playoff position and, depending on what happens with the New York Islanders, would be one point behind the third-place spot in the Metropolitan Division.
