The Calgary Flames are back in action Tuesday night in a date with the Chicago Blackhawks. Now, it’s no secret that the Flames are struggling as of late. They are losers of three straight and six of their last eight games. What better way to get back in the win column than against the league’s 31st-ranked team?
Today’s expected goaltender matchups for our highlighted game:
The Calgary Flames’ Jacob Markstrom (22-18-2) vs. The Chicago Blackhawks’ Petr Mrazek (16-26-4).

Calgary Flames moneyline & over 5.5 shots on goal (+155)

Your $10.00 bet would return $25.50.
As I mentioned above, the Flames come into tonight on a losing streak, but the Blackhawks’ 5-5 record over their last 10 games may paint a brighter picture than it actually is. These wins have come over the San Jose Sharks and Arizona Coyotes twice and one game against the Anaheim Ducks – not necessarily impressive wins.
Head to head, the Blackhawks have had the Flames number, winning four of their last five matchups. Although, the most recent outing was a Calgary Flames 1-0 victory.
One thing these teams have in common is their consistency in allowing goals over their last 10 games. The Flames allow the third most goals against (4.1), while the Blackhawks allow the sixth most goals (3.8). These two teams have eclipsed this line in eight of their last nine head-to-head matches.

Nazem Kadri over 3.5 shots on goal (+100)

Your $10.00 bet would return $20.00.
Nazem Kadri has cleared this line in four of his last five games, averaging 4.6 shots on 8.2 shot attempts per game. On the road this season, Kadri is only clearing at a 38% clip and averages 2.9 shots on 6.2 shot attempts per game.
Against the Blackhawks, Kadri has covered this line in four of his last seven games, averaging 4.3 shots on 8.0 shot attempts per game – including both games earlier this season, with five and four shots on goal. Chicago is allowing the 14th most shots to centremen, averaging 10.2 per game.

Last Game Recap

Los Angeles Kings / Vancouver Canucks Under 5.5 Goals – WON – (+$9.09)
Jack Eichel Over 3.5 Shots on Goal – LOSS – (-$15.00)
Our LA Kings and Vancouver Canucks under was sweaty, but Anze Kopitar missed the empty net by a matter of inches to cash this under. Jack Eichel hurts us. He finished one shot shy but with eight shot attempts.
All-Time Record: 57-67 (-$136.49)
