It’s Saturday, and the Calgary Flames are back in action against division leaders, Vancouver Canucks on hockey night in Canada. This will be the first time these two teams have met since the Elias Lindholm trade that sent Andrei Kuzmenko back to Calgary.
Today’s expected goaltender matchups for our highlighted game:
The Calgary Flames’ Jacob Markstrom (22-17-2) vs. The Vancouver Canucks’ Casey DeSmith (10-5-6).

Andrei Kuzmenko goal (+275)

Your $5.00 bet would return $18.75.
Revenge game round two, here we come!
Andrei Kuzmenko fell out of favour with Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet this season and was a part of the trade to Calgary. Kuzmenko is currently playing on the third line with Yegor Sharangovich and Dryden Hunt, but he owns a half-wall spot on the Flames top power play unit.
Kuzmenko has scored five goals in four of his fifteen games as a Flame. His shot volume has come down lately, but there should be extra motivation to seek revenge on the team that traded him just over a month ago.

Elias Lindholm point (+100)

Your $10.00 bet would return $20.00.
Andrei Kuzmenko’s counterpart is Elias Lindholm. He was shipped to Vancouver in hopes of finding Elias Pettersson, a steady winger, but that hasn’t worked out. Lindholm has spent most of his time centring the third line.
Lindholm has looked much improved over his last two games since Ilya Mikheyev joined his line. He’s seen his shot volume rise and registered his second point in his previous 13 games. The Flames are allowing the fourth most goals against over their last 10 games, averaging 4.0 per game.

Elias Pettersson over 2.5 shots on goal (-125)

Your $10.00 bet would return $18.00.
Elias Pettersson always seems to give the Flames trouble when they match up against each other.
Pettersson has covered this line in six of his last 10 games, averaging 2.5 shots on 4.9-shot attempts. On home ice this season, he is covering at a 47% clip, averaging 2.7 shots on 5.2 shot attempts.
Against the Flames, he has cleared in three of his last four games, averaging 3.3 shots on 6.3 shot attempts per game. Calgary is allowing the seventh most shots on goal to centres over their last 10 games, averaging 11.4 to the position per game.
Not only does he shoot against the Flames, but he also has a five-game goal streak against Calgary. Why not sprinkle $5 on his goal prop at +162 odds?

Last Game Recap

Anthony Duclair Point – WON – (+$8.50)
Frank Vatrano Over 3.5 Shots on Goal – WON – (+$15.00)
We swept the board, with Duclair finding his point via a goal against his former team; while Vatrano had three shots after the first period, he had no trouble finding that lost shot in the final two frames.
All-Time Record: 53-64 (-$142.58)
