The Carolina Hurricanes have a stranglehold on this series after the New York Islanders blew an epic lead in Game 2. They’ve made the goalie change; let’s see if that helps right the ship for the Islanders.
Today’s expected goaltender matchup for our highlighted game:
The Carolina Hurricanes’ Frederik Andersen (13-2) vs. The New York Islanders’ Ilya Sorokin (25-19-12).

Andrei Svechnikov over 2.5 shots on goal (-134)

A $10.00 bet would return $17.50.
Andrei Svechnikov has cleared this line in three of his last six games, averaging 3.2 shots on 6.3 shot attempts. In this series, he had six shots on 13 shot attempts in game 1, and a donut on four shot attempts in game 2.
Against the Islanders, he has covered this line in three of his last five games, averaging 3.2 shots on 6.6 shot attempts. The Islanders are allowing the fourth most shots on goal to right-wingers this playoffs, averaging 6.6 per game.

Carolina Hurricanes moneyline & Sebastian Aho point (+135)

A $10.00 bet would return $23.50.
The Carolina Hurricanes have so much momentum to build off of from last game’s massive 3-0 comeback. The Hurricanes are on the road now, and they’re comfortable there. They had the sixth-best road record this season (25-13-3). The Islanders are also switching goalies, with a cold Ilya Sorokin getting the starter crease tonight.
Sebastian Aho has been relatively quiet this series but came up clutch in Game 2 with the game-tying goal and an assist on Jake Guentzel’s game-clinched goal. Aho has points in eight of his last nine against the Islanders, totalling 11 points.

Last Game Recap

Adrian Kempe Over 2.5 Shots on Goal – WON – (+$7.50)
Los Angeles Kings / Edmonton Oilers Over 5.5 – WON – (+$10.00)
We swept the board with ease as Kempe had the first three shots for the Kings in the game’s first seven minutes, and the over cashed halfway through the second period.
All-Time Record: 83-84 (-$39.05)
