Tonight’s NHL slate has three games on the docket. The Minnesota Wild come into tonight’s game on a three-game winning streak and are facing the Arizona Coyotes on a six-game losing streak. Will these streaks continue?
Tonight’s confirmed goaltending match-ups for all three games on today’s slate:
The Florida Panthers’ Sergei Bobrovsky (25-10-2) vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins’ Tristan Jarry (14-15-4)
The San Jose Sharks’ Kaapo Kahkonen (6-14-2) vs. the Winnipeg Jets’ Connor Hellebuyck (24-10-3)
The Minnesota Wild’s Marc-Andre Fleury (9-9-3) vs. the Arizona Coyotes’ Connor Ingram (17-12-2)

Matthew Boldy over 3.5 shots on goal (+100)

Your $10.00 bet would return $20.00.
Matthew Boldy has been a shooting machine as of late. He has cleared this line in four of his last five games, averaging 5.0 shots on 10.4 shot attempts. Here are Boldy’s shot attempts over his last five games: 8-10-5-13-16. The volume has really ramped up, and hopefully, he can continue this tonight.
Against the Coyotes, he has covered this line in three of his six career games, averaging 3.2 shots on 5.2 shot attempts. The Coyotes allow the second most shots in the league over their last 10 games, averaging 33.8 per game. Arizona also has allowed the most power play opportunities against over that span — Boldy leads the Minnesota Wild in power play shots on goal and shot attempts.
With data provided by Hockey Viz, let’s check out where the Coyotes allow most of their shots on the powerplay and compare them to where Boldy gets most of his power play shots on goal.
The dark brown areas indicate where they allow the most shots. As you can see, they allow the most shots to the left-hand side circle – that’s where Boldy gets the majority of his shots.

Matthew Boldy point (-163)

Your $15.00 bet would return $24.23
Boldy has five points in his last two games, as well as 11 in his last 10 games. The Coyotes are currently on a six-game losing streak, allowing an average of 4.7 goals per game. Against the Coyotes, Boldy has points in three of his six career games and is now playing on the top line with Kirill Kaprizov and Joel Eriksson Ek.

Sam Reinhart power play point (+187)

Your $5.00 bet would return $14.37.
Sam Reinhart has a power play point in six of his last seven games. The Florida Panthers as a whole have a 45% power play percentage over their last 10 games, while the Pittsburgh Penguins have a sub-70 % penalty kill over that same span.

Last Game Recap

St. Louis Blues & Toronto Maple Leafs Over 6.5 – LOSS – (-$10.00)
Vince Dunn Over 2.5 Shots on Goal – LOSS – (-$10.00)
Rasmus Dahlin Over 2.5 Shots on Goal – LOSS – (-$10.00)
Unfortunate night here. This piece was written after the news of John Tavares and Mitch Marner were ruled out due to an illness. Had I known they were NOT going to be playing, this would not have been the angle to take. Rasmus Dahlin finished with two shots on four shot attempts in a blowout win over the Los Angeles Kings. Vince Dunn also finished with two shots on NINE shot attempts. The volume was there for Dunn, but he could not find the net.
All-Time Record: 30-34 (-$42.85)
