It was a tough loss for the Calgary Flames on Sunday afternoon, dropping their game against the beat-up Chicago Blackhawks. It was a tough schedule week for Calgary as that was their third game in four days.
The Flames have stumbled historically against the Senators, losers of three of their last four head-to-head match-ups. But it’s the Senators that are struggling as of late, losing seven of their last ten games. Tonight should be a prime bounce-back spot after a disappointing loss for Calgary.

Calgary Flames team total over 3.5 (-110)

Your $10 bet would return $19.09.
Over their last six games against the Senators, the Flames have 4+ goals in three games. The Senators have allowed 4+ goals in seven of their last 10 games, averaging 4.2 goals against per game.
Ottawa’s starting goalie, Joonas Korpisalo, has struggled this season, averaging 3.6 goals against with a .889 save percentage. Korpisalo has allowed four or more goals in six of his last eight starts.

MacKenzie Weegar over 2.5 shots on goal (+120)

Your $10 bet would return $22.00.
The Senators are a match-up to target in the shots-on-goal market for defencemen, as they allow the second most shots on goal to the position over the last 10 games. Historically, against the Senators, Weegar has cleared in five of his previous six games, averaging 3.3 shots on 5.5 shot attempts.
On the Flames four-game road trip, Weegar averaged only 2.0 shots on goal despite averaging 5.3 shot attempts. In the Scotiabank Saddledome, Weegar has covered this line in 59% of his games, averaging 3.1 shots on 6.4-shot attempts.
Ottawa averages 3.6 powerplay opportunities against over the last 20 days. Weegar is the leader of the second powerplay unit in shots on goal and shot attempts.

Jonathan Huberdeau point (-118)

Your $10 bet would return $18.50
Is Jonathan Huberdeau back?
According to the stat sheets, it seems as though he’s found a connection on that top line with Elias Lindholm and Yegor Sharangovich.
Huberdeau has points in four of his last five games, totalling five points. Over his last four games against the Senators, Huberdeau has points in three games, totalling four points.
