All 32 NHL teams are in action for tonight’s massive Saturday night slate. The Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers look to extend their winning streak to double digits — with Winnipeg right on their tail, holding an eight-game winning streak of their own.
The Calgary Flames face off against the beat-up Vegas Golden Knights. Star forward Jack Eichel is out tonight with an undisclosed injury. Vegas will also be without their number-one goalie Adin Hill, Shea Theodore, and William Karlsson.
The Flames come into tonight winners of two straight and six of their last 10 games. The Golden Knights have been struggling with all these injuries, winning only three of their last 10 games.

Mikael Backlund over 2.5 shots on goal (+200)

Your $15 bet would return $25.00.
Mikael Backlund has cleared this line in four of his last five games, averaging 4.4 shots on 6.6 shot attempts. Over his last 10 road games, Backlund has covered in eight, averaging 3.7 shots on 6.0 shot attempts.
Against the Golden Knights, Backlund has registered 3+ shots in seven of his last eight, averaging 3.5 shots per game. Over the last twenty-days, the Golden Knights allow the fourth most shots on goal to the centre position, averaging 13.3.

Jonathan Huberdeau point (+100)

Your $10 bet would return $20.00.
We’re going right back to Huberdeau while he continues this impressive streak he’s on. Huberdeau has points in four straight and six of his last seven, totalling eight points. Against the Golden Knights, the former Panther has five points in his last six games.
With Adin Hill still injured, Logan Thompson gets his seventh start in the Golden Knights’ last eight games. Thompson has a 2.75 goals-against average this season. In his four career games against the Flames, he’s averaging 2.5 goals against per game.

Pavel Dorofeyev goal (+300)

Your $5 bet would return $20.00.
It’s a little bit of a longshot here, but Pavel Dorofeyev is the beneficiary of the Eichel injury as he gets elevated to the top line. Dorofeyev has goals in two of his last four games. In his previous two games, Dorofeyev has registered 17:02 and 15:31 minutes of ice time, good for two of his top three minutes of time on ice this season.

Last Game Recap

Philadelphia Flyers ML & Travis Konecny Point – WON – (+15.00)
Gustav Nyquist Point – WON – (+$8.00)
Well, that was sweaty. But the Flyers won the game in overtime, with Konecny finishing with two assists. Nyquist gets his point on an empty-net goal with 2:33 remaining in the game.
All-Time Record: 13-9 (+$37.28)
