Calgary Flames need to qualify RFAs by October 7th

The Calgary Flames have 22 days left to sign their RFAs to qualifying offers.

Calgary has a few important RFAs needing QO’s this offseason: @Mark Jankowski, @Andrew Mangiapane, @Oliver Kylington, @Justin Kirkland, @Andrew Nielsen, @Glenn Gawdin, @Ryan Lomberg, @Nick Schneider, @Tyler Parsons, @Spencer Foo, and lastly, @Linden Vey.

While a number of them are for the Stockton Heat, Calgary has three key NHLers in that mix in Jankowski, Mangiapane, and Kylington. Calgary will have to issue QO’s at 100% of the players 2019-20 cap hit meaning Jankowski will see $1.675-million, Mangiapane at $715,000, and Kylington at $730,833. The latter two are coming off entry level deals.

The Flames also have UFAs like @Zac Rinaldo, @Tobias Rieder, @TJ Brodie, @Travis Hamonic, @Erik Gustafsson, @Derek Forbort, @Michael Stone and @Cam Talbot.

Calgary enters the offseason with just under $17-m in cap space.
