After giving up eight goals in a loss to the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday night the Calgary Flames will be looking for a rebound effort on Monday when they face off against the Anaheim Ducks as -200 home favourites on the NHL odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
The Flames had won three of their last four games before getting thumped by Chicago on Saturday night, including a convincing victory over the Ducks when the teams met last week.

David Rittich allowed four goals on 15 shots and Cam Talbot gave up four goals on 13 shots in Calgary’s 8-4 loss to the Blackhawks on Saturday as -135 home favorites at online betting sites. That was a clear OVER result on the betting totals at sportsbooks, and the OVER has now been the correct play in each of the Flames’ last five games.
Sam Bennett and Elias Lindholm each had a pair of goals for the Flames in their loss to the Blackhawks, with Johnny Gaudreau and Dillon Dube adding two assists apiece on the night. Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews picked up three points apiece for the Blackhawks.
The Flames, though, had a blowout win of their own against the Ducks last Thursday night, grabbing a 6-0 victory at -110 on the road on the NHL moneyline. Talbot posted a 44-save shutout for Calgary that day, with Mikael Backlund and Mark Jankowski each scoring twice. Lindholm and Oliver Kylington also scored in that win over the Ducks last week.
Ryan Miller and John Gibson combined to make just 26 saves on 32 Calgary shots in that loss for the Ducks, who have won just once in their last five games against the Flames dating back to last season according to the OddsShark NHL Database. Calgary and Anaheim also met on October 20, with the Flames pulling out a 2-1 road victory as +120 underdogs.
Calgary remains engaged in a battle for a playoff berth in the Western Conference heading into the week, and sits at +300 on the odds to win the Pacific Division. The Ducks trail at +50000 on those futures, sitting well outside the postseason picture in the conference.
